Importance of Gear Configuration
Proper gear configuration is required for:
- Field Recorder: Selecting the correct camera and lens when logging exposures
- EXIF Editor: Embedding accurate equipment information in your scan metadata
- Film Log: Recording which camera was used for each roll
- Film in Cameras: Tracking which film is loaded in each camera on your Dashboard
Best Practices
- Complete Information: Add all cameras and lenses you actively use
- Consistent Naming: Follow the suggested format for compatibility with other features
- Regular Updates: Add new equipment when acquired and remove items you no longer use
- Accurate Specifications: Include full details for lenses, especially focal length and maximum aperture
